Happy first days of Spring!

I finally understand what the big deal is about Lagos.

THIS:

And this.

And this.

Do you see the camel?

How about the Sphinx?

I'm kinda glad now that I got here in low season. We had a private boat tour of the grottos because there was no one else to sign up. Best €15 I've spent thus far.

We walked around the city. Amazing what a bit of sunshine and heat can do for this place. It's like it revived over night. The sun breathes life into the town and suddenly it has a pulse.

It has the same kind of streets as Lisbon, a similar charm, without the fancy big city feel.

It's ancient AF actually. Lots of history, but always a fishing town and port. That've definitely got a thing for pirates here. There's pirate related stuff pretty much everywhere.

Tell me you wouldn't become a pirate if you could see stuff like this all the time. I would in an instant.

I don't know if I have much else to say about this place, other than, I'm leaving tomorrow. And I'm kind of ready to.

Tomorrow I'm Porto bound, and I can't wait. I've heard so many good things, and I couldn't not see it. So ya, I'm bouncing around, but who cares for straight lines anyway. Keeps things interesting.

Today I finally sat on a beach. And we basically had it to ourselves. I chilled with Haley, ate olives, and just laughed and talked about life.

The last 2 nights I've been spoiled with some Italian homestyle cooking. We stayed in, drank wine, cooked, listen to music, talked about life, love, and loop holes. It was quite nice.

The Italian who cooked, Simone, has nicknamed me Peperina. I like these nicknames I'm acquiring. This one feels quite fitting.

That's it for tonight.

This post is really all about the photos anyway.
