Growing Pains

I'm 5 foot 2

but my energy feels

ten feet tall

at times its like

i can't contain

this force inside

It's huge, has wings

its presence

exceeds my shell

i feel growing

pains inside my soul

tearing breaking

then becomes more whole

kind of like a muscle

a snake in old skin

I feel it surge

somewhere within

its like I'm going super saiyan

my tears escape

pathetic output

for whats really inside

silent screams

while closing

my eyes tight

curl in a ball

make myself small

to juxtapose the feeling

when really, i feel

a lot like Alice

pressed against the ceiling

it means something

I'm sure of it

I know it from before

memorable nights

common theme

tissues scattered on the floor

I cry until the energy leaves

or makes its space

Inside my field

my head pounds

new dimensions found

And suddenly I'm different
